11 July 2026We compared a few rental companies before booking through Croatiarentalcars. Europcar ended up being the best option. Pickup at Split Airport went well though there was a bit of waiting. Once we got the keys everything went smooth. The car used very little fuel and handled the mountain roads much better than I expected. Drop off was quick and there weren’t surprise fees afterwards which is always nice. All in all worth it.

10 March 2026Landed quite late in Zagreb so I was expecting long wait times. Europcar desk was still open and the staff were friendly serving us at midnight. They explained the insurance options without any pressure. We drove mostly around the north and the car was comfortable for whole duration. Had small query during the rental and customer support resolved it quickly.

We reserved child seats before arriving and the team helped us install it when we picked up SUV. There was plenty of room for all our luggage.
