Yes. A valid driving license from your home country is always required. An International Driving Permit (IDP) may also be required based on your country of origin. If your home country license uses a non-Latin alphabet (Arabic, Cyrillic, Japanese, etc.), you must carry both documents. Divers with EU and EEA licenses are generally accepted without an additional permit, but those with non-EU licenses must provide an IDP at pickup. The IDP alone is never sufficient, as it is not a replacement for your original license but an official translation of it.
