The security deposit for standard monthly rentals in Croatia usually ranges from €1,000 to €3,500. The amount can range from €300 to €600 for compact-category vehicles offered by domestic suppliers. As the exact deposit depends mainly on your chosen car category and insurance level, instead of the length of your rental, and varies by supplier, you must confirm it before making a reservation.

Basic third-party liability insurance is legally required for all vehicles in Croatia. For that, monthly deals often provide Third Party Liability, Collision Damage Waiver, and Theft Protection as standard inclusions. You may opt for extra coverage when making a reservation, but remember to read the policies beforehand.
