How much mileage is included in an Avia car rental?
Mileage is offered based on how long you hire a car with Avia. A € 0.15-per-kilometre fee is charged for driving a car beyond the permitted distance.

Do Avia car rentals in Croatia come with a vignette or motorway pass?
No. Croatia does not use a vignette system for its own motorways (toll booths cover that instead). If your route into Croatia passes through a country (such as Slovenia or Hungary) that requires one, that vignette isn’t provided by Avia and is the driver’s responsibility to purchase before entering that country.
⚠️ Driving in Slovenia or Hungary without the local vignette can trigger an on-the-spot fine, separate from anything charged by Avia.

What is the fuel policy for Avia Rent a Car in Croatia?
A full-to-full is usually offered when you collect the car and must return it full. Returning the car with less fuel triggers a €37.50 refuelling service fee plus the cost of the missing fuel. Filling up at the nearest gas station before drop-off is cheaper than letting the supplier do it, as the supplier usually charges a higher price than the market rate.

Can I rent an automatic car with Avia?
Automatics are available within Avia’s fleet, but as with most Croatian suppliers, manuals remain the default and automatics are in shorter supply. Book as early as possible if you specifically need an automatic vehicle.
