Can I take any type of rental car from Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Not every category. Suppliers usually permit economy, compact, and standard cars to cross the Bosnian border. SUVs, minivans and premium vehicles are often restricted for such a trip and may be allowed with additional paperwork and fees.

Can I visit Bosnia and other countries with the same rental car from Croatia?
You cannot enter two different countries unless they are specifically named in your rental agreement for cross-border travel. The supplier’s authorisation for taking the rental car into Bosnia does not give you permission to make a side trip into Montenegro or Serbia.
